Rosh Hashanah Services
High Holiday services are the highlight of the year for many Jews, and they’re a wonderful opportunity to share the beauty of Yiddishkeit with many people who may not regularly attend other events.
Whether you’re hosting hundreds and featuring a chazzan and choir, hosting dozens and featuring a bochur brought in for the occasion, or hosting several people and searching for a way to make minyan-less services meaningful, you may find the resources below helpful.
Note: There are many halachos that must be taken into account when hosting services of any kind, and additional dinim regarding Shofar that one must be familiar with as well. Please familiarize yourself with our Halacha Guide and be in touch with your rov as questions arise.

Machzor Companion — Chabad.org
Designed to be used along with the Kehot Annotated Siddur, this booklet can be printed out if you’re short on Machzorim. It does require a fair amount of page-flipping and so is less than ideal as a first choice.

Machzor Companion (Melbourne) - Day 2
These Machzor Companions are designed for those davening without a minyan, and include selected piyutim (the ones said without a minyan) and other highlights of the services; introductory explanations; and the names of niggunim to which many of these piyutim can be sung. It’s designed to eliminate excess page-flipping and can be ideal for a starter service that will not have a minyan.
