Adding Chayus

Some ways to add excitement to Hakafos

1. Torah mascot.

2. Distribute candy apples or ice cream.

3. Somersault Hakafah where every man and child makes one.

4. Commemorative shot glasses.

5. Give out raffle tickets to the kids who are dancing and make the raffle

   after the 3rd or 4th Hakofa. Everyone with a ticket gets ice cream. (Consult your rov about making a raffle on YT.)

6. Start the Hakofos immediately after Maariv and break for Kiddush in middle

   of the Hakofos.

7. Do a short Kiddush and L'chaim, move to Hakofos, get it going and then go

   back to L'Chaims after a few Hakofos.
